Westside and
Westerside
AOC. And not only because I can walk there. I love it. And ressies!
Republique. I hate a line, but it's oh so worth it there. The pastries are everything.
Goldie's. Love the patio, and the carafes of drinks, and the food is great!
Huckleberry. Another line place, ugh, but it's just so good and so classic. Green eggs and ham are my fave.
Tavern. One of my favorite spots. The benedict is out of this world.
Local Kitchen & Wine Bar. A cute space on a cute street with fantastic eats!
Scopa Italian Roots. Most of her food isn't classic brunch like the others, but who cares? I like different!
Leona. Cute spot, terrible parking.
Misfit. Pimm's Cup and salted chocolate chip cookies. Is there anything else you need to have a perfect Sunday?
Rose Cafe. Gorgeous space, solid food.
Malibu Farm Cafe. Anything better than eating a phenomenal breakfast sandwich and sipping rose sangria on the end of a pier in beautiful Malibu? Yeah, I couldn't think of anything either...
Milo & Olive. With its new and improved larger space, this is surely to become one of my favorites! Polenta and eggs on pizza are my faves.
Viviane. Such a fun space!
Blu Jam Cafe. The fab french toast almost makes me not hate waiting in line. Almost...
Tacoteca. Bottomless rose = you get the whole bottle. Need I say more?
Downtown and "Eastside"
Otium. I can't get over how good this place is. The food is fun and exciting without being too precious. That wood oven hash! And they know how to make a damn fine cocktail!
LA Chapter. If you ever come over to my condo you'll see that I have a thing for black and white, so you know I love that black and white checkered floor. My recs are the moroccan scramble and the banana pancakes!
Sqirl. It's a trek, and again with those damn lines, but I love it. Get the jam!
Ledlow. I won't lie, I was sad when this place came to downtown because it replaced Peet's, which had my favorite mac n cheese in LA. That being said, yum! Three words: duck fat potatoes.
Cliff's Edge. Another terrible parking spot (long lines and bad parking are my least favorite things, can you tell? And salmon. Blech.) But I the vibe and tasty food. All about those lemon ricotta pancakes and truffle fries.
Perch. You can't beat that view!
South Bay
Manhattan Beach Post. Their biscuits are my everything.
Love & Salt. Another one that's a bit of a drive but well worth it. Breakfast pizza? Coffee cocktail? Yes please!
RIP Luna Park and Cadet...
